I'm an Instrument Technician based in Dubai, UAE, with over eight years spent inside process plants and power facilities — installing, testing, calibrating and troubleshooting the instruments that keep production safe and on-spec. My work has taken me through sites in Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the UAE, across oil & gas and power generation.
Day to day that means loop checking transmitters, calibrating pressure, flow, temperature and level instruments, reading HART and Foundation Fieldbus signals with an Emerson 475 communicator, and writing the maintenance reports that make sure the next technician knows exactly what was done and why. I've trained junior technicians on complex measuring devices and supervised installation crews on live sites.
My mission is simple: every instrument I touch reads true, every loop I check is trustworthy, and every report I file is one a plant can stand on.
